K.R.A.K.E.N. Corps provides forward-thinking solutions across industries while honoring the spirit of service that guides its work.
That mission is driven by founder Matthew McDonald, a service-disabled veteran and entrepreneur whose career has been shaped by precision and accountability. Matthew served more than eight years in the United States Navy Submarine Force as a Quality Assurance Officer responsible for multiple critical systems. In an environment where safety, readiness, and exact execution were essential, he developed the operational discipline and decision-making skills that now define his approach to business. Today he brings that same focus to building companies that solve real problems and create lasting value.
Through Red Dragon Consulting, Matthew helps businesses strengthen their foundations, prepare for government contracting opportunities, and position veteran-owned companies for long-term success. With Silent Service 3D Printing, a U.S. Department of Defense vendor, he leads large-format additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and 3D scanning for aerospace, defense, space, and motorsports clients, including Formula 1 teams. Through Blue Ringed Kraken, he advances medical device innovation designed to improve functionality and quality of life. With S23D, he expands the creative side of 3D printing through custom projects, flexible designs, and products for the board gaming community and beyond. Matthew also founded Platypus Psychological Engineering, a nonprofit dedicated to psychological research that serves overlooked communities.
In addition to leading these organizations, Matthew is a full-time doctoral student at Grand Canyon University, a pursuit that reflects his commitment to lifelong learning and growth.

Silent Service delivers high-precision, mission-critical components for aerospace, defense, space, and motorsports, including Formula 1 teams, and serves commercial, industrial, private, and government clients. From single prototypes to mass production of up to one million parts per month, Silent Service delivers precision, quality, and scalability.
Backed by 12 years of hands-on industry experience, Silent Service works across polymers, composites, and metals, from Nylon and PEEK to aluminum, medical-grade steels, and titanium. Scanning, CAD design, prototyping, and manufacturing are handled under one roof for faster turnaround and tighter precision. Silent Service serves as the chair for additive manufacturing in the Arizona Tech Council. ISO 9001 and CMMC 2.0 certifications are in progress.

Platypus Psychological Engineering is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing psychological science through rigorous research and the development of evidence-informed theoretical frameworks. We serve underserved populations: veterans and their families, neurodivergent individuals, and those affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. By generating knowledge that closes critical gaps in current understanding, and by sharing our findings openly through scientific inquiry and public education, we work to expand the collective understanding of trauma, cognition, and neurodiversity for the benefit of communities too often overlooked.
